$1000 build for Modeling/Rendering in Maya

Hello, I am currently a TAFE student and further looking into a future in Animation and Modelling so i would like to build a PC that I will allow me to Animate/Model/Render smoothly without much hassle. I live in Australia and I'm trying to not go over $1000, but can go over (if necessary).

I already have a Monitor, Keyboard and mouse so these will not be required in the build.

My Preferences:
CPU - Intel
RAM - 8GB DDR3
GPU - 2GB GDDR5
HHD - 1 TB 7200 RPM
PSU - Corsair
(or any other brand that is recommended as this is the only brand i have experience with)
Case - No Real Preference
Motherboard - No Real Preference

The Xeon is more for servers. I personally would stick with a haswell i5 for rendering.
