Hello all, looking to build another PC, this time for a friend, with a budget of around $1000 max.
Approximate Purchase Date: e.g.: couldn't say, this isn't my build (trying to get this parts list for a friend). I'm fairly certain the purchase will be soon, within a few weeks
Budget Range: $750-1000 after rebates and shipping. Cheaper is better
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, other casual computer stuff
Are you buying a monitor: Yes. Please include this in the price
Parts to Upgrade: Building from scratch, need all parts. I would like to upgrade the GPU in the future, so consider that when looking at a PSU, please.
Do you need to buy OS: Yes. Windows 7 64-bit.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg.com
Location: Washington, USA
Parts Preferences: by brand or type: Intel CPU, no low quality brand PSUs please.
Overclocking: No
SLI or Crossfire: No
Your Monitor Resolution: I would like 1920x1080.
Additional Comments: I'd prefer parts that aren't known to fail or have problems. Remember, cheaper is always better.
Here's what I have so far, need to cut down the cost a little bit. I also need a surge protector do be included in the budget.
