Good Evening Everyone,

I'm looking to build a $1000 gaming PC that can handle most games at Ultra settings at 1080p. This build will only include the PC and the OS because I already have my peripherals. I would like the build to include a GTX 780 (if possible for the budget). Also, with the upcoming release of the GTX 880's, would it would be worth buying a 780 and later upgrading, or settle for a cheaper card and wait for the 880's launch. I appreciate the help of this community.

Kirky

EDIT: I would also like the CPU to be strong enough to handle the stress of streaming. Thanks again!

If you stick to 1080p, a GTX770 or an AMD 280x will be way enough for you. If you go for a 780GTX, then you really don't need to upgrade after that. Still, if you plan on buying a 780GTX, I would recommend you a 290x. They are priced similarly and are stronger.

Stay away from mATX.
Get an EVGA, Fractal Design or XFX power supply.
Go ADATA for memory, it's cheap and OC to the max.
You forget the case... Do yourself a favor and go for an Enthoo Pro from Phantek.
Also, get a CPU cooler like a CM EVO 212 or a Zalman CNPS9900.
Do you really need an optical drive (I don't, you just need to use an USB Stick for your OS, but you will need to configure it)

he wouldn't need a cpu cooler because its a non K processor so no Overclocking
-And i picked a EVGA psu btw XD-
