You could also get a 290.

Or you could get this, but you can't OC.

To me it feels like none of the parts are really ideal. One contains nice components but doesn't support the OP's wish to maybe overclock later. And one has nice parts but has a poor case included.

I feel like this is the best you can do for precisely 1100 dollars. Including a good Z97 motherboard, i5-4690k, a quality GTX 970 Windforce GPU and just overall very reliable components.

The S340 case is a bargain right now and is also available in black.

You need to add quite a bit more to the price for shipping charges.

So I came up with this build what do you guys think? Is there anything I should change?

You can get an optical drive if you want.

When you overclock, get a 212 EVO or CRYORIG H7 for mild overclocking or a water for extreme.

@Zerk2012
Ofcourse but that goes for every build posted.

@warbird126
Stick with the Rosewill Capstone or if you want to go EVGA select either a B2, GS or G2 version power supply because the others are crap.
Also for the monitor, stick with IPS. It offers the best image coloring type technique on the market. I would advice you also to look into LG IPS monitors.

For the mobo I would definitely stick with the Z97-HD3P. Really nice mobo.
