Im new to pc gaming and I am planning on buying these parts for around a 1000 dolllars.

Cpu:Intel Boxed Core I5-6600K 3.50 GHz, 6 M Processor Cache 6 for LGA 1151

Cooler:Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO – CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan

Motherboard:Gigabyte LGA1151 Intel Z170 ATX DDR4 Motherboards GA-Z170X-Gaming 3

Graphics card:gtx 1070 founder edition

Is this build a good build or should i change any thing.

Solution
the coolers from evga, msi, and gigabyte will be much better than nvidias cooler.

change the power supply, that evga g1 isnt great. get a b2, g2/gs. and change the ram to a higher spec speed.

i didnt put a case or hard drives in your build since you didnt list them. you will still need about $150 for all that.

Take a case of your choice. Don't buy the Founders Edition, wait for the AIB partners to release their cards.
