I'm scratch building a new PC. It's been many years...it's time...too much cool stuff out there!
My system should handle gaming (AW, WoT, Steam) and home use for some photo/video editing and music. I am switching from AMD to Intel.
The only components I will be salvaging are the Gigabyte Radeon R9 380X 4GB Video Card and LG 34" monitor. They both work well for my needs. Also, I already have a Corsair Vengeance C70 case as I got a hella deal on it.
I would like a Mobo with the new M.2 PCIe SSD for WIN10, but if it's not worth the upgrade over a Samsung 850 EVO SSD for the boot system let me know.
I might be overbuilding/over thinking this build. I would like it to be somewhat future proof, but realize that I will have to upgrade the graphics within the next year or so. If I can save a bit here and there maybe I can upgrade the graphics now instead of later.
**NOTE**
I like the way suggestions are going. Maybe, just maybe, I can bump up the graphics card too.
I bumped up the Mobo for dual M.2's instead of a single M.2.
