Hi guys so as the title says I am finally building a new computer! I want to spend under a thousand and the only reason I can go up by a small margin is if I get a way better bang for the buck.
Approximate Purchase Date: I am looking to purchase my components over the next week or two, I am without a computer so am looking to build as soon as possible with your help!
Budget Range: Around $1000, again will go up by a small margin if I am getting WAY better performance for the buck.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, surfing the internet, watching movies, VR
Are you buying a monitor: PLEASE SUGGEST A MONITOR I CAN PURCHASE IN THE FUTURE
Do you need to buy OS: No
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: I reside in the United States, so any site that works as long as they aren't shifty, I work extremely hard for my money 🙁
Location: Chicago Subarbs, Schaumburg to be exact.
Parts Preferences: I prefer intel/Nvidia combo
Overclocking: Yes! I will like to eventually purchase a cooler for the CPU, but it's not something I'd be doing right away.
SLI or Crossfire: One day
Your Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080
Additional Comments: I'd prefer it to be quiet, but performance comes first.
----------------------
This is the build I was looking at, please critique and tell me if I can do better, etc. Also I don't need a monitor WITHIN the 1000 dollar price range, I will get one in the future, but I'd love to know which to get. I love watching movies and TV shows so I'd like bigger size but then I know that messes with gaming FPS, so your ideas please.

I am getting the following compatibility issues, what can I chose instead to fix?
Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard has onboard USB 3.0 headers, but the NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case does not have front panel USB 3.0 ports.
The NZXT Source 210 (White) ATX Mid Tower Case supports video cards up to 330mm long, but video cards over 230mm may block drive bays. Since the MSI GeForce GTX 970 4GB Twin Frozr V Video Card is 269mm long, some drive bays may not be usable.
Sorry for all the text, I love this community and all the help I've gotten over the years. God bless you guys seriously. Like I said I don't have too much to spend so every dollar matters, haha. Thank you in advance and I'm stoked to see your ideas. Cheers!
