i been planing for 3 weeks about upgrading my PC. i can't ask anyone in my area because most of Store only know how to sell,

my 2016 rig
MSI Tiger GTX 970 OC
I5 6600k
Asrock z170 extreme pro4
Avexir 1x8Gb 2400mhz
Seasonic Focus Gold 650 watt (Mid 2019)
Alseye Halo H240 AIO (2020)
Some Asus Monitor 60hz 21inch

my current plan right now
Saphire pulse RX 5600xt
Ryzen 5 3500x
Asrock B450 steel legend
Ram 2x8Gb 3000mhz (havent decided yet)
Acer KG241Q 144hz 24inch

but thing that i consider

i could just Bought Saphire Nitro+ RX 5700XT, keeping and OC-ing my i5 6600k (which 4 years old, but around 32-35 Idling with my current AIO cooler)

i could wait for ryzen 4000 and RX 5800 series to drop ryzen 3000 and rx 5700 price?

any other input would be helpful, thank you

which one is best tho?

Solution
I would just get a faster video card and another 8 GB stick of RAM and see how things run before swapping other parts (and the monitor of course since that is probably your whole point of upgrading).

should i go for nitro? or just a normal Saphire Pulse XT?
does Nitro run cooler than the Pulse one?

but my i5 6600k are locking ram Speed to 2100mhz?
