[SOLVED] [$1000 Upgrade] What to upgrade/buy?

I'm looking for a upgrade on my PC. I have the following:

CPU: Intel i5-7400
Cooler: Corsair H55 AIO
Mobo: MSI B250M Mortar
GPU: MSI Gaming X RX 470 4GB
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws V 1x8GB 2400 mhz
PSU: Silverstone SST-ET550-B Essential 550W
Storage: 1TB Seagate Barracuda
Case: NZXT S340

I'm currently eyeing for RTX 2060 and SSD. The problem is I don't know what components should I buy for a very worthy upgrade considering I have a limited budget.

I'm currently playing FPS games such as CSGO, PUBG and APEX Legends. I'm also currently using a 75hz Freesync Monitor, planning to upgrade 144hz 1080p Freesync(G-sync compatible since Freesync monitors are cheaper) only once i'm done with my system unit.

Everyone was at one time a 'noob' so that's no excuse. OC is a hobby, not a necessity, so not doing it is a personal choice. However, that said, a decision must be made. Do I maybe in the future want that option. You'll also find that in many cases the K cpus and Z motherboards also offer better options than their H/B cheaper cousins.

Personally, you'll also need to decide resolution for your 144Hz. Rather large discrepancy between 1080p/144Hz and 1440p/144Hz when it comes to gpus. New monitor freesync or gsync? Kinda changes gpu.

I'd be thinking about solidifying goals first, then see what it takes to get that.

Sorry i didn't point out the resolution. I'm satisfied with 1080p gaming. I'm also probably going for Freesync monitors that's G-sync compatible, since Freesync monitors are cheaper.
