Hi there. It's my first post so on the beginig hello to all. For some time i was looknig for some good parts to make my gaming machine but i couldnt make desision on my own. Here goes template:






Approximate Purchase Date: this week

Budget Range: 1000 USD (+/- 200)

System Usage: Gaming and some torrent, server apps in background

Are you buying a monitor: no

Parts to Upgrade: CPU, GPU, PSU, RAM, MOBO

Do you need to buy OS: No

Location: Cracow, Poland

Parts Preferences: NOTHING form Gigabyte!! (most important) i prefer Asus most.

Overclocking: Maybe - Yes if low fps

SLI or Crossfire: Rather not because of shutter

Your Monitor Resolution: FullHD

Additional Comments: KickASS xD I will be ordering in poland so i have little more money then 1000 USD (about 4200 PLN) but we have additional taxes 23% so gives about 1k dolar.

And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Old laptop became old ;p

Thanks for quick answer so:

I do not need storage, case, optical drive because i have these ;p

For cooling cpu i will use box cooler on the beginig then i will upgrade to some better cooler because i would like to get best CPU, GPU, mobo for money and then upgrade cooling and ram maybe.

Oh I saw you were upgrading from old laptop so I didn't know you had those, do you need the SSD? This build will max out everything. If you don't need the SSD just remove it.

Yeah got SSD. No need for i7 or fx-8350 even with background downloading and some http, mysql server?

How about some asus mobo? Wouldn't be better? (no experience with asrock)

Is 7970 matrix from asus worth extra $?

Asus is supposed to be better for overclocking, I'll add if you want. Not sure about the Asus Matrix. I'll add i7 if you want.
