Hello,

I recently I "upgraded" my networking setup. I was with a wireless connection and I wanted ethernet. So I bought some sort of ethernet switch, one cable to the computer, one to the wireless router.

Since then I am experiencing really slow load times on certain pages. Facebook, youtube and google take the most time to load, facebook sometimes doesn't load even after mintues. Other sites which should be more local ( I live in bulgaria ) and accessing sites ending on .bg or many other sites like 9gag , reddit or whatever load for a second.

However accessing random pages on the internet take second or a minute. I am thinking that could be some packet losses but I don't know for sure. Any recommendations or suggestions?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I've set up my DNS settings (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4)

Ethernet switch : http://www.dlink.com/uk/en/products/go-sw-5e (D-Link GO-SW-5E)
Router: cisco epc3212 (given by my internet provider)
Wifi router should affect my internet connection, as I said, from the modem to the switch, one cable to the computer, another one to the wifi router.

However this is not possible with my current setup unfortunately. It's hard to explain, but its not possible. I am looking for a solution at the current problem.

As long as you're connected to that 10/100 switch, you can't get a faster connection speed.
