100Mbps Network Switch

So i have my desktop hooked up though powerline and currently get 53 down and 3 up. My setup includes a PS4 that iv stopped playing due to the awful wireless connection between it and my router, thus i decided to get a switch. Now i looked up some switches and saw some pretty cheap 100Mbps ones, however if i use the switch will i be limited to 12.5 down since 100Mbps = 12.5 MB/S

How cheap is pretty cheap? 100 Mbps on a switch is pretty much a joke. 1 Gbps should cost the same, or at most a BIT more.

How cheap is pretty cheap? 100 Mbps on a switch is pretty much a joke. 1 Gbps should cost the same, or at most a BIT more.

I'd look around a bit more. The lowest-price gig switch they have is 15 pounds; I suspect you can find them for less.
