100mhz is it that much difference?

I was in the midst of buying the components for a new PC. I want to get all the parts from the same company, however the motherboard went out of stock so i have sat waiting for 2 weeks, waiting for new ones to be re stocked. During this time the (i5-4440) i wanted is still at the same price, however the i5-4460 has dropped £10 and is only £7 more expensive than i5-4440.
What i want to know is will there be a noticeable improvement with the 4460 as its 100mhz faster? The PC I'm building is mainly for photo editing with lightroom and PS.

When you consider the £7 over the life of the processor just get the 4460, it's newer (may 2014) and I think has some slight improvements over the 4440 that go beyond the clock speed

No exactly sure what the new Haswell refresh brings to the table, but for such a small price difference I would simply buy the i5-4460.
