1024x768 while using HDMI

i got LG E2251 montitor max resolution 1080p 60hz i have used HDMI before and can set resolution to 1080p but for some time i cannot go above 1024x768. while using D-Sub i can set resolution to 1080p. I tried both D-Sub and HDMI in graphic cards ports.
GPU = MSI GTX 970 Gaming 4G
