[SOLVED] 10400f vs 10400 temperature diference in stress testing

Hello everybody!

There are two setups:

• 10400f + z490m Gigabyte, tower cooling SilentiumPC Fera 3 120mm
• 10400 + b460m MSI, the same tower cooler

Both platforms on newest bios, the same thermal paste, and the same case
The problem is with temperatures while stress testing, 10400f + z490m gets 70C max after 30minutes in Prime95, but 10400 + b460m gest 87C max after the same time

is it possible that 10400 is broken? or the even motherboard?
I tried to correct the tower cooler, reapply the termal paste, but after that temperatures were exactly the same

10400 + b460m on box cooler reached 100C in Cinebench r20, and throttled, according to HWinfo

any ideas?

yes, no OC, default setup on both

check bios settings? some mobo default to oc.
