Question 1050Ti Input not supported

I am currently trying my new video card but can't manage to get any input. I used a vga to hdmi adapter and it doesn't work on the monitor but when used on the tv, it works. What to do and how to fix it?

E950SWN Aoc Monitor

What adapter are you using. You need an active hdmi to vga adapter for it to work.
