Hardware from this laptop: https://geizhals.de/acer-aspire-nitro-5-an515-51-536m-nh-q2qev-015-a1678342.html

2. describe your problem. The more detailed and better you describe your problem, the better you can be helped (additional pictures could be helpful, for example):
My GPU (1050Ti) is not recognized and therefore does not work, BIOS, Windows are up to date, as are the Intel drivers. DDU did not work because NVIDIA installation was not possible due to incompatible graphics hardware.

3. what steps have you already taken/tried to solve the problem and what did it do?
DDU - nothing, as described above.
Windows Update - nothing, as described above.
BIOS update - nothing, as described above.
Intel driver and support wizard - nothing, as described above.

I have not found a solution, which is why I am asking here myself.

(1050Ti) is not recognized
with some systems including an iGPU any dedicated GPU needs to be selected in the BIOS as the default output device.
if it has been disabled then the system will not be able to detect it.

there's also a chance that the GTX 1050 Ti has just malfunctioned and is not capable of running or powering up to be detected.

was this system performing as it should previously?
is it new and just powered up for the first time?
have you purchased it used and found this issue upon powering up?

"GPU needs to be selected in the BIOS as the default output device."

The bios is pretty old, i cant select the gpu.

"was this system performing as it should previously?"

no, i had the laptop since 2018 and the gpu never worked, its the first time i noticed it

"have you purchased it used and found this issue upon powering up?"

what do u mean by that?

"is it new and just powered up for the first time?"

no

since you provided no details as to the life of this system i was asking if you bought it "used".
if so, there would be a good chance that this is why it was being sold, due to malfunctioning GPU.

though even if you bought it new then it's still possible that the dedicated graphics card just came DOA and the system was never properly tested before being sold.

if you never tested or "noticed" how do you know it never worked?

have you contacted Acer tech support?
The bios is pretty old, i cant select the gpu
the age of the BIOS would have nothing to do with it.
i had systems 10+ years ago with this option integrated.
you just may have to dig through advanced settings to find such an option.
