1050ti not going to its full potential

I noticed this when I was playing Rainbow Six when its at 100% usage it only used 2000mb of memory. I don't know if I'm looking at something wrong but I'm pretty sure its support to use around 4000mb memory when at 100% usage.

There are a couple different usages there for %s of. You have percent of the actual processor on the graphics card, and another for memory usage. That's all. 100% GPU, 50% VRAM

so if its using 100% of the gpu its only using 50% of the vram?

you either have enough or you dont in which case you will see stutter and lower fps


even if a shit card had 100gb of vram, it would not change the fact that the card is shit and could never use that much vram

its a trap a lot of misinformed people fall for

Not in the way you seem to think. Core usage is much more important than vRAM usage.
