1050ti or 470+45 euros

Is worth to give my 1050ti plus 45 euros for a rx 470? A friend offer me this deal and if I accept he also will install me the GPU, but I dont know if is worth it.

My processor is Pentium G4560

you give your gtx 1050 ti to him + 45 euro's
and you get the rx 470 from him?

dont take it. an rx 470 is cheaper and more powerfull than your gpu. but it is the value of your gpu that is so worth it cause of it's low electricity consumpions, perfect for etherium miners.

if your friends gets you an new gpu, get an rx 580 or at least an gtx 1060 6GB for that value.

Well, I have a 650w power supply so I think the energy is not a problem

I'd probably do it, since its about 30% faster in games, but not for that price.
I'd offer him 20, just because it's a faster GPU (but it is old). I am sure the ethereum mining is not for you and the small amount of extra electricity it uses doesn't add to much over a year at all.
But also it depends on what your current Setup is, because you didn't list it.

My setup is pentium G4560, 8gb ram, motherboard asus b250m-k, power supply corsair 650w, 1050ti and 1 tera of memory.

He wouldn't move from the price ;(

you or your friend can go for a better deal morely to your side or drop the deal entirely
