1050TI VGA EXTENSION NOT WORKINg

why is my VGA cable with a extension (VGA FEMALE TO DVI-D 24+1 MALE ) connected to my monitor and it was not working ? the vga cable works find i tested it with another laptop anyone know solution ? Can a 1050ti support vga ?

You can connect VGA (D-SUB) monitor only by using active DVI-VGA/ active HDMI-VGA/ active DP-VGA adapter.

Older cards had analog and digital signals on DVI.
Newer cards are dual digital signal for higher resolution and refresh rates/dual screen on one display etc...
You need an active adapter like the one linked above.

It's not possible to plug in that adapter into your graphics card (unless pins that provide analogue signal connectivity are broken off).
