I was thinking about buying an 1050ti but, i'm not sure if it's worh it. I feel like the 1050Ti is going to bottleneck with my pretty bad cpu. So my question is: Will the 1050Ti be worth it with my specs?
Should i just buy the 1050Ti or should i first upgrade my cpu?

Specs:
Psu: VS450
Motherboard: a68hm grenade
Ram: 8gb - DDR3
Storage: 1tb - SATA 2
CPU: AMD A8-7650K

That is a pretty outdated CPU & chances of bottle necking will exist. I would suggest upgrading the CPU.... although sticking with an FM2+ wouldn't be ideal(regardless of CPU). You're going to have to replace the motherboard as well. If you don't want to have to replace the memory also, I'd suggest at least getting a socket 1150 board and trying an i5-4690k CPU.
If you do have the money though... then I would suggest going for a socket 1151 (300 series) board and getting an i5-8400 CPU. You'd then have DDR4 memory and a much better system with no chances of bottle necking anytime soon

Solution

I think ima do that, First buy the 1050ti and then save up some money for upgrading the motherboard, cpu, ram etc.

Ima buy the 1050ti first like Wilcard said and then save up some money for an motherboard with an AM4 or 1151 socket. Ty for the fast reply

Look at some refurbish systems as well, if you live near a Microcenter I've seen some with a 3770, 8gb DDR3 and HDD that you could snag for under $330. Adding in your RAM may work so you'll have a much better CPU as well as 16gb of RAM and a extra HDD if needed.
