1060 3gb Witcher 3 capabilities

Hello, I am looking into the gtx 1060 3gb gpu for my gaming gaming computer. This will be my first build, and one with a pretty strict budget, so I don't need anything really fancy or one that can run 4k at like 100 frames. However, one of the games that I am interested in is The Witcher 3, and I am somewhat worried that my fps wouldn't make it to 60 fps on high/max settings. If anyone with a 1060 3gb has Witcher 3, I would appreciate it if they could share what their average fps is, and what cpu they are using. Thanks!

There is like an average of 4fps difference, depending on settings and the rest of the hardware of course, between the 3gb and 6gb 1060 performance on Witcher 3 at 1080p. You will likely see just over 60fps with very high or ultra minus some few settings like hairworks. At high settings you should easily do 60-70+fps.
