For 1080p ~60Hz gaming what do you suggest?
I would like to buy a notebook for 3-4 years of occasional, now high, later on the road medium-low preset 1080p gaming. I think the gtx 1060 would suit me fine, but I came across two configurations in my country for about the same price.

Is G-sync 75Hz and 4 cores (8 threads) better for gaming experience, or 8750h without g-sync (60Hz)?
The two laptops are the ASUS G702VM, and the ASUS FX705GM (or Acer A717-72G, or Dell G3).

I would go with the 7700 and gsync. The extra cores really dont matter for gaming. So the 8750 is pretty much a wash in gaming performance as the 7700hp has very similar single threaded performance.

You may like the extra 75hz on the panel, but the 1060 is really only a 60fps card. In most games you wont be getting 75fps so it kinda negates the purpose.

But gsync looks great in fps dip as it keeps gameplay smooth.
