[SOLVED] 1060 6GB Compatibility Question.

Looking to upgrade my system this upcoming black friday and just have a few questions, so I can get the best compatibility.

Current System :
Intel I5-3350 CPU 3.10ghz(4cpus)
16gb ram
Gtx 960 2gb
EVGA power supply is either 500, or 550 can't recall. I will open the case tomorrow and clean her out and confirm.

I can stream some undemanding games right now at 1080p smooth with no problems, but some of these newer games such as Black Ops, Pubg and several others my current card is showing its age with these games and it absolutely cannot keep up.

I was thinking my best option would be a 1060 6GB, but i am wondering if I should play safe and just get a 1070. Really looking for some opinions here. Any thoughts?

You need to state the make and model of your motherboard. How old is the PSU? You will need to also be certain of the model for that EVGA PSU.

The 1070 is fine for your system. Should be able to run it without a PSU upgrade.

I would prob go 1060 6gb unless you plan to upgrade your CPU.

Hoping I can update this sorry I didn't list my motherboard on my OP lets try this again. Would my PC be better off with a 1060 6gb or a 1070.

You can run both 1060 and 1070 with them specs. I would go for the 1060 unless you plan to get a better cpu though.

I agree the 1060 6GB is a good fit for your setup.
