1060 GTX not detected by Nvidia Display Adapter setup

Hey everyone, just bought a 1060 GTX and got it all hooked up with a new PSU. In device manager it is listed correctly under display adapters but when I run the NVIDIA display driver program it says I don't have any compatible hardware. If it's listed in device manager do I not need to do anything? I'm just trying to get the NVIDIA software set up so I can keep my driver updated...

Figured it out; tried an older driver and then was able to update to the newest. Strange.
