1060 or 480

hai guyz i got few euros to spend and my options at the moment are 1060 3g or 480 4g.
i got :
i5 6500
16 g
psu corsair vs550

my monitor are 21.5" aoc freesync, i dont plan to use it i guess.
what to do?

The 1060 6GB and 480 8GB are quite the debate, I guess this is the battle of the lower versions of both cards.

With a Freesync capable monitor, an AMD card makes the most sense.

Between the 1060 & 480 the 'wins' appear to swing back and forth. The RX480 has a bit of an edge with DX12 titles currently, but I would expect nVidia to close that gap with a driver update.

With a Freesync monitor, I'd be inclined to recommend the RX480 to you - although neither card is a bad choice, the 1060 3GB should never have been called a 1060.

Normally I say 1060 6Gb but as you already have a freesync monitor you would be mad not to go 480 IMO

i only want to use 75hz.

Freesync and g-sync give their best results at under 100fps

i only achieve the 75 with the display port, so i must use the freesync thing in order to get the 75hz ?
