1060 to replace 960

I cannot check what motherboard I have because im in vacation, but I want to buy a gtx 1060 here, my pc has a gtx 960, could a gtx 1060 fit instead of thr 960?

Yes, if your system will support a 960 then it should support a 1060 as well. However without knowing your specs I don't know how well a 1060 will compliment the rest of your components, if you have a rather weak cpu for example a 1060 may not perfom any better than a 960.
