Hi guys, I just finished sting up my new system, and I had a few questions.
i bought 1066 mhz ram but its at 800 mhz by default. Should i turn on the sli ready memory option in my bios? And if so, then what should I put it on? Also, my FSB is on 1333.
Thanks

SLI ready option will do little (especially in your case as you dont have SLI)
The QX6850 will use DDR2-667mhz to run at with stock FSB so i dont see the need to increase to 1066Mhz on the RAM. Maybe see if you can lower the CAS on the dimms.

I fear there is alot of wasted money in that rig though sorry

The SLI Ready memory option has nothing to do with the video cards. This means that the memory has extra SPD programming that has preset OCing options programmed in. So, yes, the user here can try them, or try OCing manually.
