1066Mhz Memory runs on 666Mhz

Hey guys I'm new here, hope I will get some direction here..

Motherboard: Gigabyte P35-DS3L
Memory: OCZ DDR2 2048MB 1066 Mhz CL5 memory (2 x 1GB)
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6750

The problem is that it seems that my memory doesn't run in its full speed.
When I turn my computer on it says 666 Mhz (dual channel interleaved) and not 1066 Mhz. The more strange thing is that it USED to say 1066 Mhz, that means it used to work at 1066 Mhz but for some reason stopped working and now works at 666 Mhz dual channel interleaved.

When it was 1066 Mhz it doesn't shows dual channel "interleaved". Just dual channel.

This changed over night I have no idea why and how. I tried to go to bios setup and to change the memory MHZ but when I save the settings and reboots, it returns to 666 Mhz. It doesn't save it (or can't?). Any other settings I have no problem so save.

Anyone knows what can cause this? Any knows issue? Any way to try to solve this?

You need to go into your BIOS and increase your multiplier back to the maximum setting of 10. That should solve your problems.

According to the pictures, your memory is DDR2-533. You are overclocking from 266 MHZ to 333 MHZ.
DDR2-1033 runs at 533 MHZ.
Your processor is running some power saving setting, otherwise it would show 2,667 MHZ or you have underclocked it. The regular multiplier is 8x.

If you are planning on keeping this memory overclocked, please run Prime95 to make sure there are no errors.

well I rechecked my bios settings. The multiplier is set to x8.

Now my memory is running at 1006 Mhz. Here is my updated screen-shot from cpu-z:

the thing is I see the multiplier changing from x6 to x8 sometimes, and it changes the Core Speed to 2666 Mhz.
Whats the FSBRAM meaning? the values seems ok?

It's 1066 Mhz. So I don't want to overclock anything.

Glad you got it to work, Regarding the memory, I bought some of that same memory for the same mobo for my Q6600. Returned it the next day, as it was sort of quirky. Talked to OCZ tech I know about it, I come to the conclusion that this memory SPD is optimized for SLI (obviously) and therefor nvidia chipset. Your mobo has the intel chipset. There may be other factors build into the memory that effect issues. You have to draw your own conclusions.
Regarding the 6 v. 8 multi, your power saving features are enabled in bios. Since you are not overclocking, leave it there, it's no problem.
FSBRAM is the ratio set for your memory speed according to the SPD and mobo BIOS. If it works, leave it alone.

I don't see how the cpu multiplier affected the memory speed when nothing else was changed. they're independent.

It should read: OCZ2N1066SR2GK.
From your picture, I see the part number different.

its not OCZ2N1066SR2GK. its OCZ25331024V.

How you know what should be there? what does this mean?

It means they sold you DDR2-533 by mistake. Contact your vendor.

I opened my case and saw the memories. there is no mistake its

CPU-Z is showing it as 533 memory. Look at the spped tab where it shows 266 as the maximum speed, which is equivalent to 533 MHz becuase it is double pumped. Either CPU-Z is reading incorrectly or you don't have the memory you think you do.
