So I got a GTX 1060 a year or so ago, and a few months after upgraded from 1080p to 1440p. I just sold it to a friend and now I'm making up the difference and getting a 1070.
I'm gonna be buying it at Canada Computers, but I notice they also have a 1070 ti in stock that's around $70 more.
I'm gaming at 60hz 1440p for games like Battlefield/Witcher/GTA, so is a 1070 or a 1070 ti for a difference of $80 worth it? Is it a gimmicky type card, or an actual value deal between a 1070 and 1080? From what I've seen it's like a 9fps average boost over the regular 1070. For reference the cheapest 1080 being sold is $920 at CC.
