[SOLVED] 1070 or 1070ti?

Hi! I am building a new system, actually a first system of mine that costs over 300€, and i need some help. I have 2 choises for a graphics card; an asus 1070ti and a gigabite 1070 (both used)
The 1070 costs 190€ and the 1070ti 260€. the price difference is 70€ but ive heard that the performence gap is pretty big also. I am buying it for a comfortable 144hz gaming experience and some nicer fps numbers in games in general.
I am also on a quite a limited budget. I have about 300€ (left over from the other pc parts) right now but I also need a new monitor so the less i spend the faster i will be able to get myself the monitor im buying the gpu for (monitor should be around 150€). I really have no clue of what i should do.

R5 3600, 16gigs of 3200mhz ram, msi b450 tomahawk and rm650x for the psu. I have the case and the storage from a while ago, they're fine.

the 1070ti is a way closer to a 1080 than a 1070

a 1070ti can be overclocked to be faster than a 1080 which clearly can be oc'd as well.

After looking at this I find it hard to spend the extra money on it and its yours!
Neither card will get you past 100 fps on ultra, high maybe with a few things turned down.

I use a 1080 on an R7 1700 along with a 1080/120 monitor (a 4K I turn down) and net between 75 and 120+ in AAA titles like Division 2, Hitman, Sniper, and such using Ultra settings.

I would go with a 1440p 144Hz monitor and the 1070 ti.
