1070 ti or 1080 ti for 1440p

So I want to build a gaming PC, but I am stumped on either the 1070 ti or 1080 ti for 1440p. My CPU is the i7 8700k and I want to play 144+ fps in games like fortnite, six siege, GTA V, overwatch, COD 4, CSGO. My monitor is the Dell S2716DG 27.0" 2560x1440 144Hz Monitor. I want to play on high settings and occasionally ultra. I don't know if its worth the extra $200 for the 1080 ti, or if i should just wait to upgrade.

The real question is can you afford it. If you have the money and want it to last a little bit longer in the long run then spen the extra 200$ but if your on a tight budget the 1070ti will do you good

With a similar setup and a 1070, I get 100fps in BF1 at 1440p/high. If you really want to push it well, get the 1080 ti (budget permitting).
