The two cards are nearly at the same price, the 1070 Ti asus ROG is 620$ and the Vega 64 asus ROG is 635$. I'm concerned about the Vega 64's power consumption, I want to overclock it, but the OuterVision® Power Supply Calculator says that I'd need 1600W PSU. I read about undervolting and then overclocking, but my main concern is that I would want to run it at +50% power limit. I currently have an 850 bronze psu. Should I bother with the Vega 64 for more power, better performance, or should I play it safe with the 1070 Ti and overclock that one?
PS: I'd want to run the Vega 64 (if possible and the charts arent hoax) at 1700 MHz with either 950 Mhz or 1000/1050 MHz. I'll be using a Ryzen 5 2600x with it, with 16 gb of ram
