Question 1070ti or 1080?

I am building a new pc but am buying my gpu new. I could get a 1080 for $600aud or a 1070ti for $430aud. Which is worth it? I can afford both, but I also want to save money. I am however conscious that the 1080 might perform better but I could oc the 1070ti? Is it worth getting the 1080?
