Hello there,

Im in the market for a GPU and iv been looking at the 2060 for some time now.Where i live the 2060 is around 400 plus euro.

At the same time i can buy a 1070ti for around 300 ish euro...

so im wondering what your guys opinions are.

PC specs are:
ryzen 1600 at stock
16 gigs 3000mhz
550 watt psu
rx 580 8 gig (runns 85 celcius so im replacing)
Play at 1080p

Solution
If you are running a 580 on it, the 1070ti should be fine. Depending on model they are all 150-180w cards. Assuming you aren't OCing them hard and it worked the 580, the 1070ti should be fine.

I'm still not convinced. If 1080 gaming the 1060 or 580 should be fine. 1070 or 1070ti should be able to max everything at 1080. 85c isn't the end of the world. Otters
It's higher than i think it runs, but it's not that hot.

You are replacing your gpu instead of cleaning it?

Do you play any "rtx" games? The cards you listed are rather similar. I personally would choose the 1070ti.i don't play an games that need the rtx card, and I'd rather have the extra $100. Though I'd also just clean my 580 first.
Oh yeah the rx580 is as clean as i could get it and has new thermal paste on it. just got a bad one and never replaced it.

and yeah i dont play or have any interest in RTX. the extra 100 eur is also cool :3

Since im playing at 1080p the better choice would be the 1070ti for less , but im also not planing on upgrading for some time and wanna know how that factors in.

Thanks :3
