Hey guys, im just wondering whats the best value for money, i can afford all of the above but should i really be forking out that much for a 2080? Is it worth it compared to the others?

Specs so far -
CPU - i7 7700
Ram - 24gb DDR4 3000Mhz
GPU - Asus GTX 1060 6gb (Giving to a relative to upgrade my own)
Motherboard - ASUS ROG Strix Z270E

What resolution & refresh rate?

If your gaming up to 1080P/144+hz or 1440P/60hz then I'd get the 2070. If your gaming at 1440P/144+hz or 4K/60hz (med-high settings) then I'd get the 2080.

When there was a overstock of 10XX GPU's it was a decent option but now I'd get a 20XX GPU as price to performance it's a better option.

The i7-7700 is still a good CPU by today's standard since it has good performance per core (good for gaming) and is hyper-threaded for games that can utilize more then 4 cores.

Oh ok well he should be good for a while then :) thanks for correcting me haha. I don't know much about the older gen things. Only newer stuff
