1080 monitor with 4k dsr vs 4k monitor

title says it all, im just wondering whats the pro-con or what your opinions are of this, having a 1080 monitor running games with that Nvidia dsr at 4k res.

You're still only seeing 1080p and the dsr is just acting as best possible aa.
1080p:
Pro - cheaper monitor
Con - still 1080p, can have ui size issues like 4k but it's only in game

4k:
Pro - higher res and can see more detail
Con - more expensive monitor, regular size monitors may have small size issues when software won't play nice with scaling
