My current PC has a EVGA GTX 1080.. 8gb, I think. I'm considering upgrading and I haven't had any experience with the 2080ti. I was wondering what the general consensus is for a single 2080ti or a 1080 SLI setup. Would it be worth it to upgrade to a single 2080ti or an SLI setup? And it's not possible to do an SLI setup with a 2080ti and a 1080, right? I'm still learning a lot about building.

If you don't buy a 2080TI buy the extra 1080 for SLI, it is the best bang for the buck performance, and it works nicely with the 9900K 5.1 OC
Don't listen to the haters... it scales just fine and you will be impressed with the results. If you play Overwatch... you are God Tier with 1080 SLI

There isn't a CPU on the market that can saturate 2080TI SLI, don't bother. You will be CPU Bottlenecked. Wait until the next generation of CPU before 2080TI SLI... overkill

EDIT: Maybe the new top tier AMD can do it... I haven't seen the latest benchmarks... 9900K OC will not saturate 2080TI SLI... in my experience, you want to have your CPU saturate the GPU(s)... not the other way around.
