Currently my main parts are two 1080s SC in SLI, 16gb DDR4, I5 6600k and a 4k monitor at 60hz.
I love my PC and at the end of every month when I get payed I always spend some money on it! :)
Now with the 1080Ti on the way and also my yearning for always wanting to crank up the settings to max and still be able to get solid 60fps at 4k what could be suggested as advise for helping me improve my PC and future proof for 4k gaming of the future.

Many Thanks
Mike

Yep, dropping in an i7 will pretty much do it. Enlarging any SSD storage you might have?

Anything else would be a very high cost for little return on performance.

Watercooling?

Oh I'm sorry. I completely misread your comment. I thought you were going to buy two GTX 1080s. I didn't realize you already had them. My bad.

In that case, your fine. All you need to upgrade would be the CPU. BTW...On that, Kaby Lake with the 7700K should be out pretty soon. I personally would wait to buy one of those instead.
