1080 ti max memory overclock

So a bit of a 'first world problem'. But without modifying the bios/firmware is there a way to overclock the ram on a 1080ti beyond the 6505 that afterburner allows?

I can literally take the ram slider in afterburner take it all the way to the end for a max of 1000mhz gain. If I enter in a higher value, it changes it back to 1000.

I've looked at Nvidia Inspector, but it only went to 6000. Asus and Gigabytes takes on Afterburner were no better.

Anyone have any ideas on how to raise the memory clock higher? It seems to me that I am not anywhere near the limit and I would like to test that.

You might need a custom BIOS. If your card has dual BIOS then it's safeish to flash it. Many parameters are hard locked by NVIDIA so a modded BIOS is in order.

I believe KINGPIN edition has custom BIOS. Try to find that on some database like Guru3D or Techpowerup.
