Hi.

I am no PC master but I think my 1080 TI is dead..

Hope I am wrong about this...

I have done some overclocking but nothing crazy. I did clock it down from stock now. But same it stops when i start up a game in 1-2 min.

I have : Intel Core I9 9900K 3.6 Ghz Cpu clock to 5 Ghz. (no help to get that back to stock speed, did a test)
TX 750 watt power supply

Hoping for easy fix here ;/

I have not build the pc.

Those squares/rectangles display an identical pattern to the skull and crossbones, or space invader-like icons that appear when a card is on it's way to the graveyard.

Bad wire? From?
Already tried plugging into a different video port on the gpu? Tried a completely different cable? Tried running on the cpu's iGPU, aka, plugged into the motherboard?

More power? Why?
Most 1080Tis need like 300-350w. Surely the current psu has no problem supplying that..?

One ray of hope: perhaps the psu is what's actually failing here, but no way to know without trying a replacement.
