Question 1080 ti on a 4770k system, is it bottlenecking?

Hello

So recently I upgraded my graphics card to a 1080 ti after my gtx 770 died. But I noticed that I'm getting quite similar performance with more heat and sometimes more lags. I am not good at hardware overclocking and tuning, but is it a bottleneck situation? Or how could I check if my system being efficient?
