[SOLVED] 1080 to 2070 Super.... Worth it?

PC specs:
Intel i7-8700K @3.70GHz
ASUS ROG STRIX Z370-E Gaming ATX Motherboard
16G RAM
EVGA NEX650G PSU
EVGA GTX 1080 FTW2 OC'ed to 2012MHz. Stable. No issues.

Would it be worth going to a 2070 Super GPU like this one and selling my current GPU? Is there any situation where it would be worth it? I usually play WoW, ARK: Survival Evolved and Elder Scrolls Online. Thanks.

Outside of a few games with Ray Tracing. It's a minor upgrade. I'd wait for the RTX 3080 to come out. Since it is coming out soon and should be a more substantial upgrade.

If you're not planning to play other games which are way more demanding, you should be fine with a GTX1080.

I doubt it. I still can't justify upgrading my GTX 980ti. I play in 1080p and so far the thing still plays everything I play on high/ultra. I went from a 580 i got in 2010 to a 980 ti in 2015.

I mean look at this comparison, specifically the game performance.

Do you want to pay $500 or so dollars for that performance increase?
