I planned on purchasing the following parts for my build:
i7-8700k
MSI GTX 1080ti Duke
Asus Rog Swift H370-F
G.Skill RGB Series 16gb DDR4 Ram

I am currently debating whether or not to get the 1080ti or 1080 version of the MSI Duke series as 1080 is 300 dollars less.
I would like to know if it is worth my while to wait it out for the 1080ti to drop below the price of the 2080 or to just buy the 1080.
(Another alternative is to buy the 2080, but I have also heard conflicted responses on that topic as well.)
