1080 vs 2 980ti

So I was wondering, should I upgrade to the 1080 or get another 980ti. If I get the 1080 it would be cheaper since I can sell the old card. However I need 60 fps at 4k, which makes me wonder if the 1080 alone can do it. I just can stand 30 fps anymore.

The 1080 and 980Ti are rather close in actual performance. I would go the 1080 route as that is a new architecture, and has some nice new features that could end up improving performance over time as drivers and things work their way in.

1080 is not a 4k@60fps card. wait for the 1080ti or try your luck with sli.
