1080 with 40 fps

so I bought a 1080 mini graphics card and I have i5 6600, 8gb of ddr4 ram and for some reason, I'm running games on very low fps, for example, I'm running fortnite on 70-100 fps and rainbow six on the highest setting on 30-50 fps no idea why is this happening please help and thank you.

well my CPU is at about 45-50c and my GPU is at 40c
btw is it possible that I have a bottleneck?

At 1080p on the lowest settings it's guaranteed you have a bottlneck but I would have guessed not that bad of one

Okay download msi afterburner and check it again seems your 1080 isn't spinning up to full tilt for some reason check temps and core clock during the benchmark

os so gpu temp is 39-52
core clock is 1114-1898
cpu temp is 33-59

I have removed old drivers before installing but not with ddu
