1080p@144hz or 1440p@60hz?

Hi guys,
Just one quick question:
What should i buy 1080p@144hz or 1440p@60hz for gaming?
Here are two monitors I'm considering:

I'm planning to play racing games and third person shooters mostly

Definitely 144hz. Faster refresh rate is better for FPS games and it also supports 3d

I'd recommend the U2515H over that model. Around here, they're basically the same price, and the U2515 is a really nice panel (I have 3...). Can't comment on the 144Hz monitors (haven't used one), but going to 2560x1440 is a noticeable jump in image quality ...
