I have an Asus G750JZ with a gtx 880m and my current monitor is Samsung LC32F391FWNXZA.
It's a 32 inch 1080p 60hz monitor which obviously isn't made for gaming and it is quite big for me so i want to get a 27 inch monitor but i can't decide what specs to look for. My price range is 300-350 usd. I will use it for all kinds of games but mainly esports ones like pubg cs:go and overwatch.
I also read a lot of stuff and watch videos on youtube so it shouldn't be a TN panel because i like the nicer colors on the IPS panel but i'm currently on a VA panel and it's basically perfect for what i'm doing. I also play on my ps4 a lot and on my current monitor i experience some input lag sometimes which is annoying so i would like my next monitor to be better in that department. Lastly i'd like to note that i will be getting a PC this year with a gtx 1080 probably which means that i can probably invest in a good monitor which is leading me more on the 1440p 75hz side but i want to hear your opinions on that.
