1080p 144Hz or 4K 60Hz Monitor(4K is cheaper)

My GPU is GTX 1080, so I can play 4K.

My perfect spec is 2K 144Hz G-Sync.
In my country, it has flash sale.
ACER XB270H is at 285$, Spec 1080p 144Hz G-sync 27"
ACER XB280HKBPRZ is at 252$, Spec 4K 60Hz G-sync 28"

I really want 2K monitor but this price make me really want to but one of this.

My question is:
1.) Can XB280HK(4K Monitor) refresh rate go up to 144Hz in 2K.
2.) I want to know if Gaming 2K 144Hz on XB280HK(4K Monitor) is better than native 1080p on XB270H?
What do you guy think?

Unless you got the cash to shell out for a second 1080 I would stay away from 4k , to.be honest I would stick with your plan of going for 2k @ around 100hz
