Ok, so i know this question has been asked countless number of times but i want to try and get an answer for me. So i recently bought a GTX 1070 and have a BENQ XL2411z 1080p 144hz monitor. The colours aren't great but the refresh rate is extremely smooth. I am wondering whether to keep this monitor or buy a 1440p 60hz monitor. The two i have chosen are the BenQ BL2420PT ( http://amzn.to/2f5xvhV ) or the ASUS PB258Q ( http://amzn.to/2fnJ8UM ). I am going to play a variety of games from CSGO (not at an amazing level), BF1, Witcher 3, Rainbow Six Seige, GTA and arma. So quite a variety. Struggling to decide on whether to keep my current monitor or upgrade.

Kind of up to you. Do you want the higher resolution or the smoother gameplay?

1070 is plenty good for a 1440p screen and should reach 60 FPS most of the time.

1920x1080 is going to last a while before you need a new GPU. It is possible there will be some newer titles in a year or two that push a 1070 to its limits at 1440p, but that is pure speculation.

this is the thing, i dont play csgo as much as i used to and as good as 144hz looks, the colours arent the best for other games. I feel like 1440p would better suit it. If only i was rich and could get a 144hz 1440p monitor Feelsbadman 🙁

Well that was just my opinion, but its your computer so its up to you. You do you boo boo.
